“To My Ninth Grade Self” follows the life of Alexa Sanchez, a senior at Canyon High School, through the lens of a filmmaker documenting life in the school district. Through interviews, interactions with friends and family, and coming to terms with her Abuelita’s mortality, Alexa learns the importance of sharing her own story, and how that act of sharing can give her confidence to step into her future.
