The Magpie
The Magpie is my favorite painting as it refreshingly radiates warmth from a snowy scene. I love that the magpie is just chilling on a makeshift wooden fence. The mystery of his presence in the midst of this winter wonderland fascinates me.
A Lilac Bush
The sight and scent of lilacs take me back to springtime at my Grandma's house. She had a beautiful lilac bush in her yard, and my sister and I would play around it for hours. Life was much simpler back then.
Electric Guitar
This beautiful emerald green guitar is a 2001 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Electric Guitar. If I had a spare $2,099.00, I would buy this guitar in a heartbeat! I'm still learning how to play, but I hope to play as well as my dad someday.
J-A-I-M-E
J is for Joyful, a quality I see in my beautiful daughter. I strive every day to emulate her childlike joyfulness and positivity! A is for Artistic, a quality in my adorable son. His imagination inspires me, and I strive to be as creative an artist as he is! I is for Insightful, a quality I see in my amazing husband. I can only dream of being as perceptive and intuitive as he just naturally is! M is for Musician, which aptly describes my dad. He was a brilliant musician, and not just on a guitar. He found the music in everything. I'm so grateful to be his daughter! (p.s. He's in heaven, and I miss him every day.) E is for Empathy, a quality I've received from my mom. She feels deeply and gives freely to everyone, usually while sacrificing herself. These supportive and loving people have helped shape me to be the woman I am today.
